I’m Josh, born in Brooklyn, NY and raised by my Trinidadian 🇹🇹 and Jamaican 🇯🇲 family.
Rooted in UX principles, I approach design with storytelling and design-thinking always front of mind. I leverage my luminous mind and insatiable work ethic to be a thought-leader in exploring creative solutions to enhance digital experiences.
Simultaneously, I have a history of expanding my application of the design process beyond artistry and into advocacy having taken leadership to ensure the environments I’m in provide space for Black excellency to shine.

Creative Inspiration
On my personal design journey, I find myself captivated by film. I’d argue that cinema is the ultimate storytelling platform as it enables creatives to see, hear, and feel their vision.
These are some individuals and a franchise I’ve invested most of my free time into.

Crooklyn, Malcolm X, Do The Right Thing - Spike has always found a way to tell it like it is because that’s who he is. I’ve been captivated by how he’s able to highlight true-to-life Black stories so organically.

Get Out, US, Nope - His utilization of Black actors to make original films that tell stories of humanity through the lens of blackness while bending genres and creating ambiguity that mirrors real life.
That’s filmic entertainment to me.
